Memories of my college life...........

I still remember the first day of my college. A strange day it was, scary and nervous walking shyly into my new class – 1st yr B Com. My first few months in college was painful – memories of school and friends. And in those rainy days getting into the crowded bus was something terrible. But I was happy with one thing that I no longer need to wake up early morning to don my same old uniform. I can wear new dresses each and everyday. When I first stepped into the class I felt mature enough even though I was not! ;)

Days passed . . . Gradually, I started to adjust and fit in – because it was impossible otherwise with a group of teachers who were caring and so kind and my classmates who were friendly. When I was sitting inside the classroom with my friends scared of being ragged, it was amazing to get an extremely good number of seniors who were friendly and supportive.

Months passed. . . made new friends, became close and enjoyed each and every moment spent with them, for each day was a new day and the strange place became my ever familiar place – my college, the gym plaza and my classroom. Hanging out with friends after class hours at punchiry shop and coffee shops to have yummy ice creams and awesome panipuri’s and also the time spent with them at Goodwill and Urvasi doing shopping was some of the best moments of my college life. I’ll remember all the teachers who has taught me to whom I hold gratitude as strong as which I owe to my parents and school teachers.
“For it is through them that we grow into what we will be”.

Even though some of the subjects were boring and difficult to cope with others, me being non-commerce student, I enjoyed studying it and started finding it easy. Perhaps it’s because of the dedication of teachers and the discipline inculcated in the students by them.

Other than academics we had n-number of functions and programs of which I was a part. The list goes on from freshers day, talents day, teresian week, sports day, etc, etc., to farewell; from which my favourite one was the farewell organized by us to our dear seniors. Though we had a sad moment of missing seniors, we all enjoyed and had a good time organizing it where we got along with our juniors who were so exuberant and helpful. We also got a chance to welcome our super juniors where we brought out their talents.
And the day which was awaited eagerly by each one reached - our picnic – the one which I missed the most. :( Glowing days with memories filled with passionate feeling….a magnificent saga of our friendship. Those ‘FIVE’ days of togetherness, eating together, playing cards, messing up, roaming around and lots more….

Years passed…now its time for me-us to bid farewell. The three full years was a mixture of everything - A pinch of sadness and sorrow, a spoonful of tension and a whole lot of happiness and fun spiced with playfulness which leaves a garnish of memories in my life.

I’m really going to miss my college life, my teachers, a wonderful set of juniors and of course my classmates and from them a bunch of best ones. I am eternally grateful and before I say good bye, I wish my college The St. Teresa’s Centre for Business and Management Studies all success in the years to come and the very best to all my juniors.
